At heart I am a farm girl from the Midwest.  I take people at their word and they know they can take me at mine.  I grew up doing business with a handshake - I do my best to continue that friendly and honorable tradition.  One of the greatest compliments I have received from a friend and client is "what you see is what you get with Phyliss" - I am honest and forthright in my personal and professional life.  

I have over 20 years experience in the Arizona real estate market, including residential, new construction, horse properties and land sales in Fountain Hills, Scottsdale, and Goldfield Ranch and throughout the Northeast Valley.  In addition to my experience as a real estate agent and broker, my professional experience spans over 20 years as a business owner and leader in my community. I was named Business Person of the Year in 1995.  My professional memberships include:  Scottsdale Area Association of Realtors, Fountain Hills Contractors Association, Scottsdale Convention and Visitors Bureau, and Fountain Hills Chamber of Commerce.

I was awarded the prestigious Coldwell Banker’s President Circle Award and was named the top sales agent for Coldwell Banker in 2002.  After I joined forces with my daughter, Lisa Kern to form CENTURY 21 Kern Realty in 2003, I earned the Century 21 Double Centurion Award recognizing my annual sales of over $14.5 million.   In 2004 and 2005, I was awarded the highest individual award for sales production, the CENTURY 21 Grand Centurion, as I continue to maintain a top agent standing in Arizona.

My favorite past time is enjoying my family, my son Brad, my daughter Lisa, and my grandson Beau.  I enjoy horseback riding in our beautiful desert trails and relaxing with family and friends.

When I get the chance I love to travel - I still get back to my hometown of Medford, Minnesota several times a year, those roots run deep!
